Twentieth Annual Holiday Gift Show & Sale

“Celebrate!”

Confluence Gallery celebrates the season and 20 years of bringing art and arts education to the Methow Valley with its 20th Annual Holiday Gift Show and Sale.

The show features the work of local and regional artists and artisans. In addition to paintings, textiles, photography, metal work, and sculpture, there will be festive gift items. Here is a sampling of the original gifts and flourishes you can expect to find:

Glass artists are busy crafting ornaments and other decorative items. Laura Aspenwall and Lauri Kain are creating glass Christmas globes; and Laura Ruud is making small fused glass mirrors, dishware and platters, jewelry, and candle holders with a Christmas motif. Jeremy Newman and Allison Ciancibelli will exhibit fine art glass from Twisp River Glassworks.

Ceramic art comes from the creative hands of Jane Perrigo, who will be showing ceramic tile-and-copper mirrors, and Kathleen Learned, who crafts small plates and vases. Learned, Jim Neupert and Shelley Rozell will offer functional pieces for the home and table.

Other décor for the tree or the mantle comes from Ellie Easley, who creates delightful origami paper ornaments and Dan Brown, whose metal work enlivens any space. Textile artist Susannah Young will show wall hangings and functional textiles.

Local and regional jewelry, felted purses, hand turned wood bowls, and a wide variety of stocking stuffers provide gifts in all price ranges
.
The holiday gift show runs from November 10 through January 5 and begins with a celebratory open house on Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
